3 Anti-Aging Mistakes

Everyone is talking about Botox and how it makes wrinkles disappear.  For those who don't know, Botox decreases the ability to smile, frown or squint, thereby preventing the appearance of lines and wrinkles caused by what is known as "dynamic" wrinkles.  Wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions.

Doctors inject Botox directly into the muscle to cause paralysis.  This leads to wrinkle relaxation, a feat inciting famed NY Times columnist Maureen Dowd to assert it was creating a "generation of expressionless zombies."

Some of its limitations are:
  • Botox only addresses one aspect of facial rejuvenation - motion wrinkles.  It does not reduce fine lines, sun damage, skin roughness, nor does it help with acne scars, uneven pigmentation or age spots.
  • Regular injections risk skin and nerve damage and actually thin the skin exacerbating some skin problems.
  • The effect of Botox injections almost completely disappears within 3 to 6 months.  After which you need to set up regular appointments with a doctor, get a new set of injections and spend more money (about $700) every 3 to 6 months

But, what if you are not interested in paying $700 every 3 to 6 months, getting pierced by injections and you don't want to "risk" anything?

The answer is Acetyl Hexapeptide-3.

Scientists in Spain have discovered a compound called Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, which evidence suggests, offers the same results as Botox without the needles or the risk of damage to the skin or facial muscles.  This means that you get the same results minus the toxicity and costs.

What exactly does it do and how is it different from Botox?
  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 blocks the nerve signals (neurotransmitters) that control the contraction of facial muscles.  This produces a significant reduction in the appearance of both the depth and size of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 does not involve paralysis, toxins or side effects caused by leaked serum.
  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is non-invasive and safe for use in all areas of the face and throat and provides continuous, cumulative effects, which can ultimately last longer than Botox.
  • Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 works more progressively, its effects are not as abrupt and noticeable as Botox injections and are therefore less likely to cause unwanted comments from family and friends.  This appeal to most women who are not interested in drawing attention to their use of wrinkle-reducing products.

In a clinical study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 has been shown to reduce the depth of wrinkles up to 30% after just 30 days of use and a 17% reduction of wrinkles around the eyes after only 15 days of treatment. Tests also show a 39% improvement in smoothness, 42% improvement of dryness and 45% improvement in overall skin tone!

Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is included in dermatologist-recommended LifeCell which will make you look as young on the outside as you feel on the inside.  It is quick, safe, easy and affordable, and people just love its 'softening effect' on the face.
